Steven has been a tax partner with Chantrey Vellacott DFK since 2005.  He specialises in advising owner managers and their businesses and has extensive experience in profit extraction, property matters, corporate and group structuring, mergers, acquisitions and disposals.

He also heads the firm’s R&D unit and has been involved with successful claims in all engineering disciplines, software development, telecommunications, food technology, aerospace, automotive and life sciences including pharmaceuticals and bio-technology.

Steven is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and represents them on the HM Revenue and Customs R&D Consultative Committee.  Steven chairs the firm’s Tax Technical Committee.

He has also served as a local authority Councillor during which time he chaired the Town Planning Committee.

Steven lives in Surrey. He is married with two young boys, who keep him busy at weekends.
