Birmingham accountancy firm, Heathcote & Coleman LLP merged with Top 25 chartered accountants Chantrey Vellacott DFK with effect from 1 October 2009.
Heathcote & Coleman had been established in Birmingham for over 125 years from where it had delivered audit, accountancy, tax, insolvency and payroll services to private individuals, partnerships, companies and the local business community. The firm also had a strong reputation for delivering strategic advice and providing assistance to clients to enable them to achieve their aims.
Chantrey Vellacott DFK (CVDFK) and Heathcote & Coleman have worked together for more than 20 years, latterly through membership of DFK UK & Ireland – an association of 14 independent accounting firms with more than 20 offices in major commercial centres.
The merger provides Heathcote & Colemans’ clients with direct access to the wider resources of a substantial accounting firm, particularly in the areas of taxation and corporate finance.
